Theater for the New City
FESTIVAL of the ARTS
This weekend, Friday night at 7 PM, the Festival of the Arts, which celebrates all of the artists in the Lower East Side kicks off!
Starting tonight is the visual art opening at the Theater for the New City, featuring lots of artists' amazing work, including a piece by me, plus wine, cheese and snacks. FREE, 6 PM, 1st Ave @ 10th St.
Friday night there are events at the theater starting at 6 PM. Saturday all day long there are events and an outdoor block party on 10th St. between 1st ave / 2nd ave, including live performances on the amplified stage by Ben Lerman, Jena Friedman, Kyle Thompson and lots of others, from 12 noon - 5 PM. Sunday there are events all day and night at the theater, as well.
The entire festival is FREE FREE FREE FREE FREE. I said it 5 times to make sure you get it :)
